First and ten. Here comes the drive here by hand. The throw by Mahomes. Incomplete. Flag thrown. Looking for. Mahomes is down, Mahomes. Smith Houster, he sure is. I'm out for injury. Watch as he goes to the crown. It looks like that. Oh the left knee. Yep, you saw it. You saw like it almost like it popped. Popped. With him, traditionally he's gone after it so hard and he's so in tune with what he does that he he does it a little quicker. Ballpark on this thing is nine months.
You gotta go out there and be yourself. Like you I've built up the strength, I've built up all the days of rehab so that I can be myself. You know, I'm I'm not gonna I'm gonna keep myself out of harm's way like I always will. I try to take big hits and and stuff like that. Um but I'm a competitor, I I signed up for this and I'm gonna go out there and play football. Um and I think that's uh that's how I've always rolled, uh no matter what it what it is, and uh that's how I'll probably roll the rest of my career.
And now, running for the return of the Pat, Seren Petro. Right
you are, K. Right you are. Petro on the program on Sports Radio A10 WHB. Thank you for joining us here on a busy a NFL Monday is what it is. It's a red Monday. The longest opening week I can
remember. Um because it is. It's with the sixth day of week one.
Yeah. Uh it doesn't usually take this long to play a week of football. We go from Wednesday to Monday. Not bad.
Not bad. Not
bad. Not bad. You know? We'll take it. We'll get back onto the normal sched schedule this week. Uh about Wednesday, 'cause we won't even have our normal Tuesday. Uh but uh yeah, a lot of NFL football to talk about to do uh discuss. The uh Chiefs chasing the Raiders in the AFC West. Will they be tied with the Raiders? The Raiders were one and oh last year too, though.
Yeah. Someone noted that they were the last two years of Raiders with at least with more than eight months of rest are two and oh. Less than eight months rest, they're two and fourteen. I think that was Josh Debot of uh of the A P, great statistical guy who has good stats and he occasionally will have some fun with it. Um he's a he's a must follow if you if you like that kind of thing.
I do follow him, uh, and he has good stuff. I agree. Uh the Chiefs and Broncos tonight. Um, we've seen a disappointing Charger performance. Boy howdy. A very impressive Ravens performance, an impressive Bengals performance. A I'm thinking of the AFC first. I know the Bears hanging fifty nine. The Bills were they impressive? They got it done. But but do we look at that and say
that they you gloss over the I mean if they they did give up thirty plus. Yeah, and if three I can't think of who that was, the play before the touchdown. If he catches the ball in the end zone they lose. The narrative today is Allen
Or if the Texans ju if if the ball isn't if they protect a little bit better and sh and uh Deshaun Watson, um CJ Stroud doesn't have the ball knocked loose in his hand and go down and he ends up making a play and the Texans win that game.
But that's that's a different that's at least a hey Josh Allen got it done, his defense let him down. If that guy hangs onto the pick, that's They're in a position to win the game and he throws a pick in the end zone. I think it's worse for Buffalo if if the the narrative because it's all about Allen, seemingly. Well worse if Buffalo loses, you mean? Worse if they lose because the Of Josh Allen? Yeah, because Allen got picked than if they lose because of I I object. Why?
Because I f because Pat threw a uh pick in a game against was it Buffalo trying to come get back against Buffalo and he didn't go, Well, he sucks. No. That's that's the defining line. He's not a player. We're screwed.
