You know, the Chiefs fans have already gotten spoiled to the point where a double-digit win on the road is lackluster and not good enough.

Well, you are what you are, and what they are are 3-0 and heading to equally 3-0 Las Vegas. with them feeling good about themselves. Uh, I didn't think that that game was going to be must see television week four, but it certainly is. So, um, but so far so good for the chiefs, really. I'm not one of those alarmists that thinks they should have beaten the pulp out of Miami. Um, you know these are still nfl teams and they still came up with a uh you know a double digit win that i think if i'm not mistaken made gamblers happy too yes so
i can tell you it's one of we we do our picks every friday we always have all the local games and that that touchdown at the end was much needed by yours truly
so yeah i mean all good in the hood they're three you know and um And you can't be any better than that through three weeks. So lots of good things to be happy about.
Do you believe Andy Reid and or just coaches in general in the NFL can leave things on the shelf? Because we've got one theory, and I subscribe to it a little bit. I believe that there is. I'll put my two cents in it. There is an element of truth to this, maybe not as much as fans would want to believe, but that... Andy Reid knew the bigger game is the Raiders. The Dolphins are, well, yes, an NFL team. Yes, college All-Americans, guys who can play and you can get beat on any given Sunday in the NFL that maybe he left a little bit sitting on the shelf in an effort to keep as much off tape as possible. Do you believe coaches
can do that? I mean, no. I think they've got enough at their disposal that Yeah, I mean, Andy's been around the block to the point where he knows going to Miami, just ask any, you know, Patriot, Jet, or Bills fan, weird stuff happens in Miami. I mean, Tom Brady always wanted to use his own footballs in Miami. You know, back in the day, you know, back in the early aughts, the NFL used to have all footballs to be used in the game handled by the home teams. So, you know, Brady and Peyton Manning and a handful of other quarterbacks got together in the early aughts to say, we've got to stop that process. We should be able to use and bring our own footballs on the road. And those are the footballs that we use because they always swore when you go to Miami that new footballs would be busted straight out of the box just in time for a two-minute drill before the end of halves where you needed a score.
And suddenly you're dealing with a slick football with a that you've never really touched before and those things would happen in Miami. I'm not saying that's what's happening now because they changed the rule a long time ago. I'm just saying weird stuff happens. And, you know, I didn't think, you know, hey, let's overlook Miami to look forward to the much more big game against the Vegas Raiders. I didn't have that on my bingo card coming into the season, but they are 3-0. and, you know, an opponent that would love to put a Chiefs pelt on their wall.
One of the great moments in Chiefs' recent history was the finale in 2019 where they were hoping to get a first-round bye. They needed the Dolphins to beat the Pats at home, and they did. A 4-11 Dolphin team beat New England, and it gave Chiefs a first-round bye that proved crucial to their first championship.
