Maybe there's a little bit the first time back. By the end of the season, you're going to know what the ā A lot, to a great degree, I think, what the next five years are going to be.

There's nothing worse than an off day after a loss. I mean, I know that there are some days that you're like, yeah, I can't watch this team. And so the off day is good. But an off day after a loss, especially if it's a bad one, it's brutal. Absolutely brutal.
Well, they also got, what, cooperation from the Guardians. The Tigers were off, but the Guardians played and they lost. Yeah. So they picked up a half game on the Guardians. They're right back in it. Now they're just three back and three and a half back on the Tigers. The Tigers are the one that's the scary one, in my opinion.
Right, I agreed.
But, yeah, I mean, I do... You know, when I asked the question, well, do they turn the corner? Nobody wants to answer because nobody wants to be wrong. Right? I asked him, and what did you say? Well, I guess we'll know. I'm like, I know. But if they win six out of seven, or let's say they go, what do we do? They got seven when they come home against a tough one and six or so.
So if they go like 10 and three, we will definitely say that this was, they had turned the corner.
But that doesn't, you're not going out on a limb there. Let's go out on a limb right now.

Chapter 6: What are the expectations for the Royals' upcoming road trip?
And they've overcome bad losses, too. They came back from the loss on Monday that was ugly, so ugly, and won on Tuesday. They came back from that blow-up the first series of the year when Estevez gave up the home run. They won the next day. There's some fortitude with that. And I don't think they get enough credit for it. Yeah, I agree.
And I think, are you ready to say that Caglione's ready to start blossoming into the player? You know, a guy that... isn't just surviving with his batting average, but is thriving with hitting the ball hard.
He's hitting the ball hard. He's hitting the ball over the wall a little bit now. So that's what I wanted to see next. I wanted to see him pull the ball. There was a stretch. We didn't really talk about this. There was a stretch when he had, like, 12 of 14 batted balls were not pulled over a 10-day period or something like that. And that's concerning because that's where you get your power.
I mean, he's able to hit the ball out of the park foul pull to foul pull. No doubt. The strength is there. But you're going to get ā the bulk of your home runs are going to be pulled. Right.
Unless you're Danny Tarnable.
Yes, unless you're Danny Tarnable, which ā Maybe he is. I don't know. He's not. They're very strong. They're both very strong men. But, yeah, you've got to pull the ball. And he wasn't doing it. Now he is. I'm much more hesitant on Caglione than I am on even saying the Royals have turned the corner. Really? Yeah, it's just I struggle with the pitch selection.
And I worry that there are times that it's just going to be ugly for two weeks.
But I think that's interesting because part of it is like, are we projecting when he was putting up the amazing numbers in the minor leagues, he went from being a guy that when they drafted him, everybody agreed he's too much of a free swinger, swings at bad balls, but immense power. So I think when the Royals drafted him, It was like, oh.
30 to 40 homers, 240, you know, 305, you know, that's probably what he is. I'm hoping he'll be better. I'm hoping he becomes more. And then when he had the monster numbers in the minor leagues, he became more in our head. Yeah. And so now we're not willing to say he's turning the corner because now we're waiting for it to look like he's going to be 40. He's going to be Freddie Freeman. Right.
