In this episode, we discuss how to manage your property investment bank accounts so that you don't go into unarranged overdraft or miss an important mortgage payment. The strategy discussed is to set up your accounts so that all rent from all properties goes into the same account, with all expenses also coming out of that account. This saves you from having to move money around and each property can subsidise each other temporarily if needed. We also mention our property investment cashflow calculator. You can use this calculator to get a ballpark idea of the cashflow position of your property.
