We go through the reasons why property investors have historically been interested in the West Coast – namely the cheap property prices and the relatively high rental yields. However, we go through some of the reasons that should give investors pause, such as – the declining population, the derelict state of some of the houses in the region, and the relatively low population of tenants. Ultimately, this balanced view is so you can make up your own mind about whether investing in the West Coast is the right fit for you or not.
