“The main role of the heart is to vortex blood. Dr. Hussey first got curious about the way heart health actually works upon reading a study that showed how inefficient the heart is as a pressure propulsion pump. In school, people are taught that the heart’s main function is to pump blood throughout the body. In reality, the heart functions more like a hydraulic ram.
