What recent price movements are happening in Bondi, Sydney?
It's The Real Estate Podcast, across every state, city and town of Australia. And welcome to another episode of The Real Estate Podcast, available on iHeartRadio every morning, also on Spotify and Apple and wherever you get your podcasts from. Well, the weekend came and went, didn't it? If you sold your property over the weekend or you are the proud owner of a new one, congratulations.
The weekend has been a great one for you. On the other hand, it might be another week of marketing your property with more open homes as you count down towards the big auction day. Or you might have another week of viewing more properties, more auctions to try and win the day. And the day today is the 25th of July for 2022, August, getting ever so closer.
And coming up this morning, we are talking properties with a focus on Bondi in Sydney. And we'll be talking with Monica very shortly. If you're celebrating your birthday for the 25th, you share it on the same day as Joey from Friends. Matt LeBlanc is turning 54. Simon Wilson is turning 43 today. You might be scratching your head as to say, I haven't heard of Simon Wilson before.
Simon is a mate of mine living on the Gold Coast. Have a great birthday, mate. Thinking about you. Also on this day, I see the world's first test tube baby is born. Louise Brown was the first person to be conceived using IVF technology. And that happened on this day in 1978. So whatever you're doing today, enjoy it.
Grab your coffee and switch on your real estate breakfast every weekday morning from 6.30. It's the main centre forecast with propertybuyer.com.au. And around Australia, we go to look at your weather on this Monday morning. And in Sydney, expecting a bit of cloud, but it should be mainly dry. Your high of 18 degrees. Melbourne, unfortunately the rain is developing during the day.
Expect a high of 17. Brisbane, sunny skies. A bit of a ditto day on yesterday with 22. And in Perth, a cloudy day but also a dry day and your high of 19 degrees. From first home buyers to property investors and everything in between, every morning on The Real Estate Podcast.
Well, we all know that different suburbs in any given city can perform differently to others and that standalone family quality homes can ride out the current market downturn maybe...
little bit better than other homes and if you look at Sydney right now there is discounting in certain suburbs where vendors have accepted to sell they were dare I say it pragmatic enough to adjust their expectations and prompt-track reported discounts of 10 to 15 percent have been seen in the top end of the market
So let's bring into the conversation this morning Monica Shaw from Ray White Unlimited in Bondi Beach. And a very good morning to you, Monica. Great to have you on The Breakfast Podcast this morning.
