All right, we are back here on the Ringer NFL show with Deontay Lee and Billy Gill. The three of us were together after the Super Bowl back in February after the Seahawks put the smack down on the Patriots. This was a very different game, but the end result is a Seahawks victory. Deontay, football's back here. Are you ready to just let the takes fly?
I mean, football is back. It took us a while, though. Football definitely had a little bit of mucus hanging out the eye for a little bit. It took a little while for us to get rolling, but I'm glad the ball is back, and I think that we finished this game at least with something pretty exciting and engaging to talk about.
Billy, how we doing? It took a little while, but you're ready now. That's game one of 272. You predicted all the results of
this season. I did. I can't
remember if you had Seahawks or Patriots for this one.

I had a question for you about that, Shield. Deontay, I don't know if you know this, but I went through... We were doing our predictions for the different divisions and then the playoffs and all that. So what I did is I printed out the schedule and I went over every single game. And that's how I decided who would have what record. Instead of just... I'm arbitrarily looking at a team and saying, oh, that's a team that's going to go, you know, 10 and seven, whatever. I said, let me do the work and do this. But then I didn't take into account, like, am I just doing wins and losses or was I doing the spread? I just did wins and losses here. I think I'm just
going to stick to that. Yeah, that's fine. No, that's good. I think that's fine. I think that the exercise of printing out the entire NFL schedule and predicting it alone is sicko enough behavior to where you don't have to add the layer of picking against the spread.
People didn't really like my results. So I'm going to be perfectly honest with you. And I made a copy of it because I could put this in like an Excel sheet, but I didn't. So I was like, let me make a copy so I don't lose it. And then I was going to put it over into an Excel doc. But I haven't found the time because that seems like very time consuming. And I already wasted so much time doing it. Well, listen, that might
be a framer if we go 272. That
could be a
collector's item. So we're still alive. All right, we're going to do... some winners and losers. The great way to analyze any football game because there was a lot happening here. I mean, you could have stuff on the announcers. You could have stuff on the commercials. You could have stuff that happened in the actual game. You know what? I'm going to call my own shot because I think we all probably have the same loser here. I mean, this is where we have to start the conversation. Drake May.

that last year, I'm not even going to do the analysis. Let's just say we all have Drake May as our biggest loser. Deontay, you are a Drake May fan. I like Drake May too. Billy, where are you on Drake May in general before this game?
