All right, people, this is it. I'm Dave Rubin. This is the Rubin Report. It is July 30th, 2026. And although there are 31 days in July, today is our last live show as I am about to go off the grid for all of August. I will not return live until September 1st when a special guest host, I promise you're gonna love this person, I'm not even gonna tell you their gender in case they change it over the course of the summer. And they will bring me back online and we will see what I miss. I'm gonna offer you guys a whole bunch of commentary about what I'm doing and why I do off the grid and everything else over the course of the next hour. But we're gonna be really here today recapping season 13. Our seasons here at The Rubin Report are from September to July, not the calendar year.
We do it a little more close to your old school schedule. And we are wrapping up our 13th season and it was once again, I mean every year somehow, I'm like an OG YouTuber at this point. I've been around the block doing this thing and the show just seems to get bigger and bigger each and every year. We wanted to just pull some quick numbers just to really show you guys that you're not alone being a normal, sane person watching this show. From September 1st, 2025 to today, we got over 600 million views. views, that does not include audio, podcast, audio, anything, and that's how most podcasters kind of grade themselves. I didn't even bother with those numbers, because I consider this a video show. 600 million views, we got over 300,000 subscribers, and the numbers
have just been phenomenal and numbers are not end all be all, but it is nice to see that after all this time, you guys are still with me and we're still growing and doing great stuff. So today on the show, we're gonna go through each month since September with some highlights and obviously it was a Well, it's certainly September started off as a rough year, but we're going to get into some highlights. We're going to get into some of the crazy moments. I'm going to make a couple special announcements at the end. We've got a locals Q&A. Oh, and I am on a lower chair today because right after this, assuming everyone behaves, I am actually interviewing Justin and Luke in the studio before we shut everything down for the summer.
And I'm really excited. about that and man, I am leaving with a busted, look at that hump, he's still there. We'll see if he's gone by the time I get back. All right, so let's dive in and again, a couple special announcements. I do hope that you'll stick around to the end of the show and what we taped yesterday for you for tomorrow's 11 a.m. show is, genuinely like nothing we've ever done before and I really think you're gonna enjoy it. So please do tune in tomorrow at 11 a.m. Oh, and I guess I should say, I'll do a little more of this at the end, but I am just so unbelievably appreciative and humbled and so filled with gratitude that you guys give me any time of your day and it is not lost and it's not lost on anyone in this room and we have an absolute, I know I can speak for everyone when I say this,
We have an unbelievably great time doing this show and putting this together and the amount of laughter that goes on before and during and after the show and despite all the craziness and the communists and all the stuff, that we love putting this on. And I think that translates into why you probably watch the show and we really do appreciate it. So, all right, so let's start. We're just gonna go pick one or two moments from each month of the season to go through. And unfortunately I have to start obviously with the thing that really set the tone for the entire year, and as I said yesterday, I still don't think we've fully grappled with properly, but on September 10th, 2025, my friend Charlie Kirk was assassinated.
