Right now we're joined by British comedy legend whose brand new show, Vaudvillion, is headed to Australia. Yes, playing shows all across the country. It is the great Bill Bailey.
Our next guest is a comedy icon, and he's taking his show Vaudvillion right around Australia. But a word of warning if you're going, you
better have done some research. But nature is in strife, is it not? We're losing species hand over fist. We've got to do something, people. We can't do nothing. But what can we do? It's there's the bits that I do, the music and the stories and everything, but if you can get a bit of banter going as well, that's that that 'cause you that's the bit you you don't quite know what's gonna what's gonna happen.

Uh there's it's a it's a good question and it's a toss up between Australia and Scotland. Scotland Yeah, right. There's Scot uh there's some great I've had some great exchanges there. I'd uh I was I was doing a gig there and uh in in a remote part 'cause I like to go out and you know, explore a country and I did a gig in a in a Stornaway, which is a little remote sort of fishing community. Up in the outer Hebrides, as you do. Yes you do. Yeah, yeah. And uh and I sort of and they had a very low expectation about the gig, and even to the point that they didn't quite believe it was me. Yeah.

So you went to a few of those shows and then you thought this is great. So I love these shows and um that's how I started. Yeah. Uh so basically it's it's uh I tell you where it comes from is uh I did a show in in London a couple of years ago and uh in in fact it it toured here as well and at the end of it I there was a there was a comment where it says Bill Bailey's like a modern day vaudeville and I thought, Oh hang on, I need to know
