She is a New York City-born writer, actress, performer, BDSM educator, storyteller, podcast host and award-winning executive pervert. She has written and co-authored many books, including "Playing Well With Others" and "The Toybag to Guide to Play with Taboo." Mollena began her explorations of BDSM by subscribing to the newsletter published by the Society of Janus and exploring kink and fetish via the newly burgeoning world of online chat forums. In 2016 a piece about her BDSM relationship with her husband Georg Friedrich Haas was published in the New York Times, and today, she is an inductee of the Society of Janus Hall of Fame.
