Leonard with buzzing spots in Laval, Point Claire, and Brossard, serving up banger sandwiches, veal cutlet, steak, Chicken, my personal favorite being the sausage sandwich with spicy, marinated eggplants, vibrant salads bursting with flavor, lattes and espresso that keep the energy high through overtime. Throw in a cannoli or two and every bite is a highlight. Join the locals at Cafe Milano and turn every meal into a team win. Cafe Milano, because winning tastes better. Without further ado, I bring in my guest today from the Sick Podcast and Sick Media, Matt Ohan, and of course from the Sick Podcast, Sick Media's co-host of the Eye Test, Pierre Maguire. Hello, Matt. Tony, how are we doing? Pierre? Doing well.
Tony Marinaro 3:12
Pierre, how are you? Nice to see both of you. I'm doing fantastic. Thank you. Excellent. Guys, we're three days into camp, two days on the ice, and so far a lot of people are talking about Chris Kreider on a line with Suzuki and Caulfield. Slavkoski on a line with Kapanen and Demidov. Pierre, Marty St. Louis a couple of days ago talked about what he was looking for in a centerman and said, listen, there's no doubt that Nick Suzuki is the number one centerman on our team. I don't like to number my lines two, three, or four. Some are better offensively than others. Some are better defensively than others. But I would say, he said, the characteristics I'm looking for in a centerman are you have to be good in the face-off circle.
Tony Marinaro 3:55
I'm looking for someone who has that computer, someone who's got some of the most recent sophisticated software, someone who plays a balanced game, someone who's a good complement to the line could be someone who can set up his line mates as well and play a solid, well-rounded 200-foot game. Pierre? Were you surprised to see Oliver Kapanen take back that number two spot that he had last year during the regular season, but that he lost down the stretch in the regular season last season and lost in the playoffs?
