After discovering that pillowcases can harbour up to 1000x more bacteria than a toilet seat, he and his business partner embarked on a journey of R&D to develop silver ion treatments that can reduce acne and other skin concerns. After launching in late 2020, Silvi has had tremendous success, with the company now valued at over $20 million and high-scale investors, including Hezi Leibovich, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Catch.com.au and Luxury Escapes founder (and past guest) Adam Schwabb.
