And welcome to our Logis special, where we're gonna take you through all the surprises, shocks, funny moments. We have some critiques because we watched the Logies in full last night. Not only did we watch the Logies, but we were there. We were there. And Laura was wearing two matching shoes. And I really was. And that's all we did. We can say about that. No no no. Um if we sound a bit tired to you today, we sound like those broadcasters who shop drunk to the um morning after show. Um morning after yet. Yeah, to have drinks. No, we didn't.
So that's a gripe I'd like to bring up. It's so funny
because we obviously like posted so much from the red carpet. Um we were both there on the red carpet um with our colleague Liv James. If you haven't seen our coverage, it's on the spill Instagram. Very funny if I do say so myself. But um yes, we had to get to the Logis venue. Well, I was there bright and early from ten AM. Mm-hmm. You rocked up at two PM and then you and I left the office. I like I
like the way that sounds like I just left you to do some work. I was not required for the table. No, no, no. We had different start times. Okay.
I wasn't trying to start B, but guys, this episode might end in tears. We all know. But then you and I left the Mummy office um around one AM. Yeah. And we're on bright and early this morning before nine AM to start the day to bring you this very important Logis recap. So if you hear hysterical laughter or crying during this episode, that's why. Yeah. But that's all part of the Logis. That's what the Logis are. That's why they talk about at the end of the night, especially that like we've got to keep this going because you made a good point last night that out of all the award shows, like the Logis is one of the few in the world that like finishes close to midnight. Most award shows, like the Oscars and stuff, finish quite early.

they start in the afternoon like normal people. So people can hit up an after party feeling fresh
and flirty.
Yeah, and that's why you see broadcasters on TV the next morning. Like worse for where? Because the after parties don't start till midnight. I know. And like last night they're like at eleven thirty, they were like,
okay, now onto the gold logie. And I was like, it's never gonna end. We're all gonna be watching this for the rest of our lives.
My favorite part is every year channel seven, like oh like it used to be nine, but now channel seven puts the TV guide out and they're like, the logies, seven thirty to eleven. And I'm like, not once, not once in your 66 year history have you finished at 11 p.m.
Exactly, but I actually thought this was a fun Logies this year. And I'm a bit of a Logies fangirl. Like it was the biggest event of my life for my sister Kate and I when we were growing up. And it's still quite a big deal to us. So I'm very excited to be there. It wasn't for me growing up, but
I did work at TV Week for
many years of my life. It's one of my favorite things in the world. Sorry, Laura.
Um and so I Um, and so I
do love the Logis, yeah. So you might have some insider knowledge for us as we go through because you've gone into dark corners of the Logis events that most people never get to see. So kicking things off, so yes, we were standing on the red carpet, um, a very packed red carpet. I saw a lot of A listers like half getting knocked over, getting pushed, getting pulled.
