So it's okay, you don't have to say the plot. Okay, okay. I know that's why you struggle. Everywhere else, you're great. Okay. So before we jump into our other recommendations for today, I just want to give a little quick PSA to fans of Outlander, because I know there are many of them,

legion
across the world. Obviously, it was a best-selling book series, the Outlander series, and then we had the TV show. which finished up a few years ago, but it ran for a really long time, telling the story of Claire and Jamie, these star-crossed lovers. So, like, Claire travelled back in time and met Jamie and they fell in love. It was a whole thing. I can't obviously get into it on this podcast.
But if you
know, you know. A very sexy tale. If anyone hasn't watched, hey, if anyone actually hasn't watched the original Outlander TV series, boy, would that be a sexy romantic watch for you. I

You do, you do. I interviewed Sam Heughan, who is the star of the original Outlander series, way before I even worked in entertainment journalism. He was just coming in and I was there. He came into the old, old, old Mamma Mia office back on Wentworth Avenue.

yeah. That's to give you a timestamp of how long it is. is he came into a podcast and he was so sweet and quiet, but the show hadn't really blown up yet. And when we finished doing the interview, I said to everyone in the office, like, oh, does anyone want to pick with Sam Heughan because he's in the office? And because the show hadn't blown up and no one had watched it yet, everyone was like, not really. I thought that guy, we don't know who he is. And then like literally three days later, the show just, you know how it just takes
off?
And everyone was madly, madly, madly in love with Sam. And people kept coming over, literally saying to me with tears streaming down their face, He was here. I know.
And I was like, yeah, he
sat in that chair and then people would touch the chair. It's a whole thing.
We're so
weird. Women are crazy, but that's the fun kind of crazy.
Yeah.
So anyway, this weekend, tomorrow, Saturday the 19th of September, season two of the Outlander prequel series, it's called Outlander Blood of My Blood, is dropping on Stan. And this story actually takes us back even further than Outlander. It tells the story of Jamie and Claire's parents, their love story. Yeah.
So you
can watch it as a standalone
because obviously Jamie and
