Now, I know I say this every day, guys, but today is a pretty stacked show, so I'm not even going to bother giving you a tease of it. Let's just jump straight in. Okay, guys, so yesterday we found out about the song, but today it's the real Taylor Swift news we've been waiting for because we're not just getting a song, we're getting an album. It's called The Life of a Showgirl, The Encore, a re-release of her album from last year with four brand new songs and a new cover. The four songs are called Patient Zero, which is the one we already knew about, Cleveland with an exclamation mark, Pink Clouding and Babylon.
Taylor wrote on Instagram a little bit about what inspired the album. She said about a year ago, you guys did a truly unfathomable thing, something that completely blew my mind. You gave the life of a showgirl the biggest first week for an album in history. I took a trip to Sweden to celebrate with Max and Shellback, my two collaborators on this album. Really, we just wanted to reflect and take in how grateful we were for the moment we were in. But there was a studio there and we did what we do when we feel anything at all. We wrote more songs. So it is, of course, a very supportive and lovely gesture that he has flown over to be with the family in this horrible time for them.
