One of my favorite movies that came out this year was Banned Over One Night, which was The Invite that we watched.

I know, right? And it was actually just made in not even like one whole night, like half a night, I would say. Um and I just feel like it's such a good device, like storytelling device. And it's also I guess would be a challenge for writers and directors to make you fall in love with characters and have your understanding of the story in just like a short period of time.
Yeah, you really you don't have time to build, you often don't have a lot of different set pieces, you gotta g get in there. But it does like kind of let you tell a very intense story. Yeah. Because this week the new rom com One Night Only comes out that we talked about on Weekend Watch this week, which takes place, as the name would s suggest, over the course of One Night.

Um, created and directed by Issa Ray, who we absolutely love here on this bill, starring Kiki Palmer and Scissor. Like, I think one of the best chemistry I've ever seen on a screen, their duo dynamic is amazing. So Kiki Palmer and Scissor, they play roommate named Drew and Alyssa. And They're about to have one of them days. Mm. Basically, they're gathering money to pay their weekly rent. And then they find out that Alyssa's boyfriend stole their weekly rent money.
