Yeah, good. You're looking terrific. You had a nice long summer in the States, which we're going to talk about, Phil.
Yes. Uh Los Angeles undertones, uh topped up by a little bit of Malaga recently. Yeah, been travelling.
He's changed. Um, although you have suffered some trauma uh earlier in the season. So when we last spoke to you here on the Weststand, we call the eighth of May. I just had a look at the date. Eighth of May. So to timestamp that for anybody who is not aware where what that is in the calendar, was it after the Burnley win we said? Uh and just before we went to Spurs. So we had three games left in the season. All but done, I think we felt at that point. Three wins in four.
Well I'd been at the Burnley game and I'd covered that and I was saying video done and dusted. Which I've been saying for months. Yeah, and Hearts had three games left. Yeah, I can tell it they had three games left because I remember being a whole lot happier back when we did the last West. Although you were full of doom. Well you weren't willing to believe it. No, which is probably sensible. I mean I did tweet and say it's a good job that I made peace with this all going tits up months ago 'cause after the um after what happened in that last week, which I I I I mean I hated that last week more than I've ever hated a period of of football before. And I can't lie, I'm incredibly bitter about it. I am and it'll take a long time to to wash it away.
The thing is, I kind of knew it wasn't gonna happen. But when you get down to the point where you'd only need one result for it to actually occur. And and on that last week when we beat Falcook and it was two all uh at Motherwell between Motherwell and Celtic, Celtic got the late penalty, if Motherwell had scored an injury time then then we'd have won the title. That that would have been it. But the thing you have to understand is that it's as close as I'm gonna get probably to hear winning the title, it was like a one time thing, chances gone, it's probably not coming back. Um it might do, but you you know, realistically history tells you tells you not.
