Sometimes you have to move on. There are moments in life when holding on is no longer strength. It is simply keeping yourself trapped in something that has already run its course. Moving on can be one of the hardest decisions we make. It might mean leaving a relationship, changing careers, walking away from an environment that is damaging you, letting go of an old identity, or accepting that something you once wanted is no longer right for you. The problem is that many people confuse persistence with refusing to let go. We are taught to keep pushing, keep fighting and never quit. While resilience is important, there is also enormous strength in recognising when the fight is no longer worth having. Moving on does not mean you have failed. It means you have learned enough to recognise that your future requires a different decision.
