He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from the University of Tennessee at Martin prior to receiving his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 2010. He is licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Tennessee, Kentucky, Illinois, and Iowa.
