Chapter 1: What are necessary endings and why are they important?

9.734 - 28.031 Stephanie Musk

Hi, this is Stephanie Musk. Today, I want to talk to you about necessary endings. Earlier this week, I was on several calls with a couple of candidates that I've known for years. At the same time, we've been having a lot of dialogue about what's really important to them in their next steps. What are they really looking for in their next move? Well, we've come to that crossroads where I believe we found what they really want. And yet they still had that last minute hesitation of, do I really want to make a move? Let's face it. Fear of change is huge.

Chapter 2: How do fear and emotional energy affect career decisions?

51.162 - 73.434 Stephanie Musk

Fear of the unknown is huge. Anytime you make a move, it takes a tremendous amount of emotional energy and they're burned out. They're worn out. They're exhausted. But when you make a principle-based decision that you know in your heart of hearts when the time is right, it still doesn't make it easy, but it does help.
