Lane Thomas, who is a good hitter, strikes out. Dominic Smith, who's terrible, I have no idea why they have him. He's still swinging. A shadow of Josh Bell, who they got rid of, is so much better. He's not a good fielder either. I don't know what anyone sees in Dominic Smith who plays every inning of every game.
He struck out. Went higher and higher on the strikes. For the third one, it's like he stared down the pitcher going, you're not going to throw it up there again. It's even higher. He strikes out.
And these are all swinging, by the way. And Joey Manessis, who was great last year, who was a great story out of the Mexican league. Earned himself a deal. Can't hit this year. Can't hit. Can't hit. Scott saw me on PTI two days ago where I just said at the end of the show, I can't hit the ball in the air. If it's not on the tee, I can't hit it in the air. I stink. I hit it in the ground. I hit it into the sand. I stink. He called me up to tell me how to do better.
