Hi there, it's Caroline here from The Trial and The Trial Plus. We've got such a busy few weeks coming up that I just wanted to let you know what we're planning so you can frankly strap in and catch all the content that we're going to be bringing you. In the UK, the trial of two men who are accused of cutting down the Sycamore Gap tree in Northumberland gets underway. You'll remember this tree was hundreds of years old. It featured in Hollywood movies and it was a famous landmark on the North East horizon.

Chapter 4: What is the significance of the Kim Kardashian trial?
It's the trial of 10 people who are accused of stealing millions of dollars worth of jewellery from Kim Kardashian. It happened in the middle of the night, the robbery, leaving reality TV star Kim Kardashian tied up, shaken, but OK. This happened back in 2016 when she was held at gunpoint in an apartment during Paris Fashion Week.
Chapter 5: Who are the accused in the Kim Kardashian robbery case?
Some of the men accused are so old they've become known as the Grandpa Robbers. They deny the charges and will be at their trial as it gets underway, also on Monday. I'll be covering that one on the usual trial feed with our reporter, Nick Fage, who will be in court.
And I was like, OK, this is it. I thought that was my fate.
And from Paris, we head to Australia and to the trial we talked to you about last year. It's one we've been waiting and planning for for months. It's the trial of Erin Patterson, who's accused of murdering her former in-laws, Don and Gail Patterson, and Gail's sister, Heather Wilkinson.
By serving them beef wellington laced with poisonous mushrooms, she's pleaded not guilty.
She's also accused of the attempted murder of Heather's husband, Ian. The allegation is they all ate a meal which Erin Patterson had prepared and poisoned. She denies the charges and her trial starts on Wednesday next week.
I'm devastated. I love them. and I can't believe that this has happened, and I'm so sorry.
