In this episode we WadeOutThere with Lewis Hirsch, from Atlanta Georgia. Lewis first picked up a fly rod at the age of fourteen, when nothing else seemed to fit him. He quickly became involved in the US Youth Fly Fishing Team, and spent more time on the Nantahala River during his last two years in high school than he did in the classroom… Despite the fact that it was two and a half hours from home. After high school, Lewis packed up his gear and headed west to spend the summer guiding in Montana on the Big Hole and Beaverhead Rivers, where I met him on a fishing trip with my son. When he isn’t chasing trout in Montana, Lewis guides in Northern Georgia.
