Jack moved from Australia to New Zealand to pursue a life at sea in commercial fishing, and soon found a passion for fly fishing. Now Jack works as a ship’s engineer for months at a time, and spends his off months hiking and backpacking in New Zealand’s mountainous backcountry in search of trout and adventure. He sometimes travels twenty kilometers in a day for the chance to sight fish to one or two trophy sized fish that will give him the fight of his life.
