It was obviously a holiday week, the Thanksgiving holiday, where we all sat down and and ate delicious food and watched football games and and and tried not to think about what it's actually about. That's but it's it's so apropos to uh uh a new national conversation that is brewing in this country about who is America? What is America? Who belongs here? Who doesn't belong here? Uh clearly the president has ideas and states them with such grace uh from the Oval Office. But I thought, uh boy, wouldn't it be nice? To get a little bit of nuance and and and into this conversation with people who understand what we were at our founding, who we were at our founding, what we were meant to be, and and how it uh grew from there and and the different times within our history where
uh the arguments over who we are and where we should come from and what America actually uh means and who it belongs to really bubbled out into the public sphere. So uh we are gonna jump right in with that. I'm uh uh both guests are just so uh erudite and knowledgeable within this uh sphere. So we're just gonna jump in with them. Here they are. Okay, folks.
