What is the main topic discussed in this episode?

Jake Shane 0:11
Are we starting?
Unknown 0:12
Honestly, you can. We're all rolling. It'll be kind of fun. Okay. Okay, bye. Have fun.
Jake Shane 0:19
I've never done this. No one's never not been in the room before. What do you mean? Like, there's always Nolan and Louise there.
Nicholas Galitzine 0:27
Wow, so we're like pioneering right now. I guess. Well, this is my first podcast ever. You're lying.
Jake Shane 0:35
Are you serious?
Nicholas Galitzine 0:37
You just got me so excited. So I don't know if I'm going to be any good at the format.
Jake Shane 0:41
Wait, I think you'll be great. We were just kicking outside. Okay.
Nicholas Galitzine 0:44
We were kicking, yes.
Jake Shane 0:45
Yes, we were. This is your first podcast. You know this is his first podcast?
Nicholas Galitzine 0:50
First podcast. No, it's... Well, it is kind of a new... Format.
Jake Shane 0:55
Yeah.
Nicholas Galitzine 0:56
It is. I mean, only in the last really few years. Uh-huh.
Jake Shane 0:59
Well, Nicholas Galitzine is on today. Yay! Yay!
Nicholas Galitzine 1:03
Yes, yes, yes.
Jake Shane 1:05
I saw your movie Masters of the Universe yesterday.
Nicholas Galitzine 1:06
Amazing. Where'd you guys film? We filmed in London.
Jake Shane 1:10
Oh, so you're...
Nicholas Galitzine 1:12
Well, I mean, to be honest, I was living here when I got the job. Nothing films in LA anymore.
Jake Shane 1:19
Starting to, though, now.
Nicholas Galitzine 1:20
Maybe times are changing, but I've filmed one job in my whole career in LA.
Jake Shane 1:26
You'll never believe who just walks in the back house, walks in, Ryan. I said, oh, Nicholas, this is Ryan. Ryan goes, hey. I go, what are you doing? Like, you don't understand.
Nicholas Galitzine 1:37
So he's not supposed to be here.
Jake Shane 1:39
Like, he's... Do you, are you codependent with anyone? Well, you're just hard lunch, your girlfriend now.
Nicholas Galitzine 1:44
Yeah. I mean, that was kind of, that was kind of supposed to be to my close friends.
Jake Shane 1:49
Oh, you did it by accident.
Nicholas Galitzine 1:50
Look, I mean, anyone who, you know, follows me at all knows that I've had a girlfriend for a few years. But, you know, we like to be private, which, you know, I think is just easier in this day and age. But, yeah, I was doing a shoot yesterday and usually, you know, post things to my close friends. I didn't know you had close friends. Well, listen, man, let's see how this goes.

What roles and projects has Nicholas been filming recently (Masters of the Universe, Red, White, and Royal Blue)?

Jake Shane 2:18
Let's see how this goes. I don't even use close friends. What do you use? Nothing. If I have something private to say, I'll text it.
Nicholas Galitzine 2:26
But what are you uploading that would make you... Well, my close friends would just be me talking shit.
Jake Shane 2:32
Oh yeah. So it's like, I can't do that.
Nicholas Galitzine 2:34
What do you think of that new, the instance thing? You like it?
Jake Shane 2:38
You are so tapped in. I'm like, wasn't expecting this out of you.
Nicholas Galitzine 2:42
I'm getting real tapped in. Okay, yeah.
Jake Shane 2:44
What do you think of the instance thing?
Nicholas Galitzine 2:46
I don't love it. I think it's stupid. I don't love it. I hate it. And I don't want to see that little thing in the corner.
Jake Shane 2:51
It's starting to piss me off when I go check my DMs. And you feel the little like, you know.
Nicholas Galitzine 2:55
And it's just also like the level of like the content is really just like- Plummeting. Yeah, it's not good. I just don't care. You sift through it and you're like, I didn't need this.
Jake Shane 3:05
Well, I don't- Do you sift through it? I did it once and I was like, wait, can I go back? And it turns out you can't go back.
Nicholas Galitzine 3:09
It's like the whole point. I do sift through it. I'm curious. You're curious? I'm a curious person, yeah.
Jake Shane 3:13
Did you finish filming Red, White, and Royal Blue 2 yet?
Nicholas Galitzine 3:16
Yeah. Yeah, start of the year really. I mean, we- It's been kind of- I just kind of want to hug this, sorry. Is that right? That doesn't ruin your shot. Yeah, we finished filming at the end of February. This was a really quick shoot, but- Quick? Quick, well, I mean, it was just, I'm very fortunate to kind of be in a position now where I'm kind of going from job to job. So I had to squeeze in a little indie film after that, before this. I know, it's so, look at me. I was squeezing that little indie. What indie was it? It's a really cool film called The Return of Stanley Atwell. It's a period piece set in the 1950s where I play the heir to a massive fortune who everyone thought was dead. And then he shows up 15 years later.
Nicholas Galitzine 4:10
The guy who has the fortune. Yes. And they don't know if he's a doppelganger or...
Jake Shane 4:14
Okay, so what's the sequel of Red, White, and Royal Blue called? It's a tongue twister, isn't it? It really is. Red, White, and Royal Blue.
Nicholas Galitzine 4:21
To be honest.
Jake Shane 4:22
You call it Red, White? Yeah.
Nicholas Galitzine 4:23
Red, White, and Royal Wedding is the sequel.
