Big history between the two clubs. And we're talking to Paddy Carrigan today, your Origin teammate. He just said, look, you know, we're all great mates, but the rivalry is very real now. And throw in the fact that Brisbane need to keep on winning if they want to remain in this competition. And you guys are trying to get it to the top four spot. So it's important that this game has so much more meaning to it this time around.
Definitely, yeah. Like you said, you know, we both need to... um get get our wins um you know to stay in that top eight so um it's going to be a tough battle out there this saturday um night and um i know it just um depends on who turns on today um the night of the game so um we're just going to make sure we get our preparation right and make sure we do everything right before the game kickoff so um i'm excited again and i can't wait so yeah
Well, last week you guys started really strongly against the Dolphins. You got an early lead and wasn't able to hold that and sustain that. Broncos have obviously coming off of a really good win that they really needed. So they'll be up and about as well. How are you going to approach this one just to make sure that you play the full 80 minutes this match?
Yeah, we just fell short last week. It was a disappointing loss against the Dolphins, but we've just got to make sure we turn up this week with the right mindset and make sure our preparation is right on point. We've just got to make sure we get everything a little right this weekend and make sure we get there on Saturday and make sure we put on a good performance.
It is important. I can't tell you, Georgie, these games are played with so much passion. But Thomas McKaylee coming back into your side, the importance, he's been the most underrated player, I reckon, in your side this year. How important is he? And mate, he's a good boy. He's in the Ipswich City Council, so he could almost be... He could have been a Bronco at some point. Yeah, he could have. But he's been such an important part to your side this year. How important to have him back this week?
Yeah, definitely. He's been playing some outstanding footy this year.

We missed him last week against the Dolphins. It's great to have him this week against the Broncos. He's very important to the team. He brings a lot of impact into our squad.
