Um And I think rugby league's in a better place, uh, with him there and in We need him to have a huge influence in the game, but I guess the balance is what's going to be discussed widely about whether one man can have too much say or too much power. Um and there will be people who keep him in in check, I'd imagine. Uh and I d I generally think that we should be grateful that he's in our game, uh, and he deserves that position.

I think he's done an outstanding job and um you know, I think he'll be s he'll be sensible in you know You don't become a us you know, where he is at the moment through racing and yeah, through the NRL if you haven't got um yeah, smart people around you and he'll put smart people around him and um you know you just saw yesterday with the pre match, you know, he's not shy to make a decision uh and quickly for the best interest of the game and you know, some people mightn't like it, some people might like it and he just backs himself.
Yeah, I I backing himself is not a is not a quality he lacks in. Is it like he he believes in whatever he does. But he needs he does need to listen and I know he does speak to a lot of people in the game. Like uh he's got people who he can find in the the the the Wayne Bennetts of the world, the you know Ricky Stewarts of the world, those sort of guys he yeah, in terms of coaches he speaks to them, he speaks to players as well. So I don't think um he's just shooting from the hip. I think that there is thought behind what he does. Uh and he's He's been an outrageous success in rugby league. Um, but, you know, he doesn't get everything right and People will keep him in line, I'd imagine, like especially the media.
I mean, not everybody um is probably as positive as I am about PVL. I'm I'm I'm really a believer in a lot of things he does. Uh but I will call him out when necessary if if there's something I disagree with. Like, you know, and there will be stuff that we we fight about going forward.
