You haven't missed them, have you? I'm a bit more positive than you are, Maroon. I'm not positive at all. I like the Bears alliance because I think it instantly gives them a supporter base. I think that's, particularly when they come to Sydney, I think the Bears supporters, North Sydney Bears supporters, deserve a team to support. And they've jumped behind the Perth Bears. So I actually don't have a problem with it. I think this merger may work.
I think if it wasn't for the bears, I'd have even more concerns. Okay. So just stay with me on that. If they were the Perth octopuses or the Perth- Octopi, is it? Octopi. Perth whatevers, we would dead set be going care factor zero. Well- I think the Bears are giving them a spotlight for us to hold on to, a platform. And do I have concerns? Absolutely. I've got concerns that Mal Meninga won't even get to the start line. I really do.
I don't think their merger with the Bears is the issue. It's going to be a massive problem down the track. Their issues are instability in the front office, concerns over where Mel's 100% in with his footy team because obviously he's lost a few of his key lieutenants. I think they're the issues.
