It was a high-quality game, particularly that first half. Both teams... Really getting after each other, had that semi-final feel about it. Huge respect amongst the two teams. Obviously, coached by Trent Robinson, Craig Fitzgibbon, a long relationship there at the Roosters together before Fitzy came over to the Sharks. So there is a respect between the clubs, but a rivalry building and... The biggest example on the field of that was Moola Tala up against Nwangane Tawase. Good. And it ended up being a tough night for Ronnie. It was certainly physical early on. Emotions brought over a couple of times and discipline hurt him a little bit. But then Nwangane Tawase in that second half, some class, a couple of tries there to seal the game.
So a high quality game. I just think, listen, in that performance, the Roosters, they bounced back after their last month. really strong physical through the middle and then the class off the back. Their offloads really caused that defense of the Sharks some problems. 15 alone in the first half and a couple of those led to tries. And then the Sharks... In terms of the physicality, they just looked a little bit off. And the return of Nico Hines, Blake Braley, particularly Blake in the middle, two weeks after breaking his arm.
