Yeah, it's always like that after a trip. You enjoy it, but then once you get home, you go, okay, I've got to click back in the gear and get to work. But I saw some of your photos and your videos. Your dad was there too, yeah?

He loved it. Jimmy Graham's ripped into me because we flew different ways over there.
That's alright, you know. You always look after the people that have been along on the journey for your entire life, you know. I mean, yeah, each to their own, but it's great to have you back, Charlie, and it did look absolutely fantastic.

Oh, incredible what Mark Hughes and the foundation have put together over all these years. Ten years, actually. This year was funny. We had Mark with us on the Thursday game, kicking off the round. And he brought it up. The first game that the players wore the beanies was at Shark Park. I was a part of it.
Oh, wow.
And I was in the call with us as well because you boys are doing your 24-hour buy-around call for dry. We should talk about that after. But yeah, he brought it up and a couple of memories clicked into place. And then he highlighted some of the journey and the growth of the foundation. Something like 30 plus mil raised over the 10 years. They now have, I forget the exact number, but it's, something odd like 30 dedicated researchers full time, which is funded by the foundation, just specifically looking for treatments and cures to fight brain cancer. And he does such a wonderful job. Again, the money raised, the big three track where they walk from Sydney to Newcastle, that was their fifth time going.
So I spoke to Gowza. He's in a bit of a bad way. It's a tough slog, but yeah, what an achievement. And yeah, They did this within their first 10 years. Now starting from this point, just imagine how far they can go in the next 10 years with the amount of money that the foundation has raised. So congratulations to Mark Hughes and the foundation and everyone involved. What another successful Beanie's for Brain Cancer round.
Yeah, absolutely unbelievable the amount of money that the game and the people of the NRL have raised. Phenomenal that it's 10 years, Wade, like... Wow. Look, I know I personally have been affected by brain cancer and it is absolutely horrible. So great to see the game and the community rally around and raise much needed funds. And obviously what you want from that is making an impact, which clearly the Mark Hughes Foundation wants. He is an incredible man, Mark Hughes as well.
And you mentioned Paul Gallen. I did see some footage of him struggling, walking along a highway.
