Austin really, um, really slows down in the summer. You can pretty much get in any restaurant you want.

It feels just very slow.
But yesterday was the first... So I know everyone's always like, the heat. We're not going to talk about the weather on this podcast. But I did feel it yesterday when it was like, what do you want to do? I was like, I just want to be... Whatever we do, I want to be inside. Or I wanted to be on the lake, but... We were members of a boat club, which we've talked about, but the boats were sold out yesterday.
We couldn't get on.
So we couldn't go. And, yeah, that was the first time where I was like, wow, I can't believe I'm saying that. Usually I'm like, get over it, go outside. It's too hot. No, it was hot yesterday. Yeah.
I didn't even notice. And not to talk about the rain, but the day before, the rain was insane.
That was insane. It was cozy, though.
It could be delaying the yard. We had a great yard meeting today, but the... They're saying that the rain may now delay.
Oh, why?
Yeah. Because they don't work in the rain.
But is it supposed to rain this week?

It was solidified when, in the process of moving the pipes, is I realized this project is, I bit off more than I can chew. We're going to pay the premium. You know I don't look at the weather. This is the thing about me. Never, ever, ever.
I don't look at the weather because it makes me in a bad mood. So I don't want to be proactively in a poor mood if it's going to rain on Wednesday.
Also, why look at the weather when the probability of it being correct, especially in Austin, is so wrong?
So that's one thing that's gotten more interesting. I remember weather, I thought, used to be primarily always accurate. Like if it said it was going to rain, it always rained. Now I've really noticed we saw rain on the weather forecast for weeks and it never rained. Like I'm kind of a bit shocked we're getting this far off. I would think our weatherometer, you know, the National Weather Center is in Oklahoma. Yeah, middle of the United States. Look at that. It's P's birthday. Happy birthday, P. Happy birthday, P. She is, can we say how old you are? The ripe age of 23. Just imagine being 23.

I felt 23 at 23. I only started feeling younger than my age once I hit the three handle.

Ooh, that would have been New York, Manhattan. I've never been a big birthday guy. But I had a really fun crew of friends at that point, a bunch of Canadians who had just moved to the city, who were just the most caring people.
