Two Strike Noise - A Baseball History Podcast

Episode 128 - Worst Trades In MLB History

03 Aug 2021

Description

This week we review the worst trades ever made in baseball history. Some of the biggest names in MLB history were the result of really bad trades, atleast for one team. Babe Ruth, Pee Wee Reese, Lou Brock and David Ortiz (or Arias as it was) were acquired for next to nothing and went on to have Hall of Fame careers. We try to figure out who has made the most one-sided trades, the Red Sox or the Mariners. We also cover Olympic bullpen carts (which are awesome), a historic game between the Twins and Tigers and we lament Lars Nootbaar just sitting on the Cardinals bench. Plus round 2 of Wax Pack Heroes.  Twitter - @twostrikenoise Instagram - @twostrikenoise Two Strike Noise on YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCvh7epD-mqT9qCIV7CNqhog Twitch - https://www.twitch.tv/twostrikenoise E-mail - [email protected] We pull ALOT of commons in Wax Pack Heroes. If you've got those Tom Foley or Ernest Riles cards just sitting around you can donate those commons to charity and maybe spark a child's interest in baseball and collecting.
