Two Strike Noise - A Baseball History Podcast

Episode 65 - Former MLB Pitcher Sean Lowe Part 2

12 May 2020

Description

This week is the second part of our interview with former MLB pitcher Sean Lowe. Sean pitched in the heart of the steroid era against some of it’s biggest abusers. Hear what he says when we ask him if he would rather face a PED-enhanced batter or one who knew what pitch was coming. He also had some interesting insight on the Astros trashcan banging scandal. Before we played Wax Pack Heroes with Sean, we discussed some of his cards, including his first one on which he did not actually appear on. The actual Wax Pack Hero segment is full of personal stories as Sean knew almost every single player we pulled form the 1992 Score pack. If you've got those Tom Foley or Ernest Riles cards just sitting around you can donate those commons to charity and maybe spark a child's interest in baseball and collecting.
