Hi, everybody. Welcome to another episode of By Order of the Faithfuls. And we are so excited for this guest today. His name is Shaheen Davari, and he is a debate professor from California who competed on Survivor 48. He serves as the director of forensics at Orange Coast College, where he leads the speech and debate team. Coming into Survivor, Shaheen set out to become the first Persian man to win Survivor. He described himself as a logic bully and drew inspiration from Survivor alum Jonathan Penner. However, Shaheen's obvious strategic skills put a target on his back and he was blindsided on night 23, ultimately finishing in sixth place. Hi, Shaheen. Oh, wow. How's it going? Well, yeah. No. Well, listen, I'm like I'm trying out for Survivor.
Like I'm I'm seeing if I could do it. I'm laying on the beach in a cabana. But I left to talk to you. So that's all. I think it's basically the same thing. Survivor and laying in a cabana. Basically the same thing.

Yeah, that's what I heard. You can lie in a cabana. Shaheen, I couldn't last one second, not one. And I'm pretty tough. I used to be a corrections officer. I grew up in Patterson. Oh, I mean, I think that's more than a day. I think the corrections officers tend to do well on stream. They're looking at, you know, the final three. I think it'd be all right. And to be honest, you survived some pretty gnarly rooms, dude. It's just insane drama that we don't have that. The insane drama is lasting on the housewives for 10 years. I think that beat, that trumps everything. Thomas is a huge Real Housewives fan. He was on my season as Survivor. Oh, really? Oh, my God. He's the single biggest Housewives fan he has seen every season, every iteration.
He absolutely is going to be super jealous when he finally picks up the fucking phone and calls me back.
