I'm your host, Daisy Kent, and today we're talking to a sorority rush expert known as Bid Bible, also known as Abby Skye. She's here to give us the lowdown on everything you need to know about your social media presence before you rush. So let's welcome Abby in. Hi. Hi, Abby. Thanks for coming on. Yeah. Thanks so much for inviting me. How are you? Of course. I was like looking through your Instagram. I'm excited to chat about all that you do. Yeah, no, me too. Oh my gosh. And my sister absolutely loves Gia. And of course, I saw your season.
I saw you at Jamison's a while ago. That's so cute. And you went to Kappa Gamma or you were in Kappa Kappa Gamma at USC, right? Yeah, exactly. Awesome. When did you graduate? Are you still in school? No, I graduated two years ago. Two years ago. Okay, that's what I thought. Refreshed. Yeah. And did you throw or did you hold a position on exec? No, I didn't. But I got to see all the behind the scenes, you know, because you were in a sorority. And so did you hold a position? Yeah, I was Panhellenic. Okay. Oh, wow. Okay. The whole thing. Yeah. Yeah. Well, it was like, I was like the Panhellenic person for my sorority. So I wasn't like on, on like Panhellenic with the school, but I would just go to all the Panhellenic meetings, had to like know everything.
Yeah. Yeah. No, it's a lot. So that's cool. How did you start doing like what you're doing? Yeah. Oh, my gosh. It started back when I rushed my first time my sophomore year at USC. Yeah. And I didn't know anything going into it. I mean, despite having a mom, a dad and aunts and uncles all were in Greek, but they kind of just told me, like, have fun with it. And actually, my mom was the one who's like, maybe you should prep. But I was like, no, no, I don't really know why.
Yeah.
Yeah, I was like, it's a social club. Like, aren't I just supposed to talk? So, yeah. And so my best friend and I went into it and we thought we had great conversations. Everything seemed sweet and normal. And especially myself being gay. a very involved high school student.
