Carrie Brownstein 0:10
We're launching Podlandia AO Rewatch, our brand new podcast where we revisit every episode of Portlandia together, breaking down sketches, going deep on our iconic characters, and pulling back the curtain on how it all got made.
Kyle MacLachlan 0:22
And we'll also be joined by the people who helped bring it all to life. Guest stars, collaborators, and friends, including director Jonathan Kreisel, the mayor himself, Kyle MacLachlan, legendary musician Amy Mann, and many more.
Carrie Brownstein 0:34
Kyle is going for it here. You fully improvised not just words, but a song, a melody.
Kyle MacLachlan 0:39
Well, I thought you were all going to write a song.
Carrie Brownstein 0:41
I remember you thinking that. Listen to Podlandia, AO Rewatch on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

What's up, fam? I'm sports journalist Ari Chambers. Hey, what's up, y'all? It's your girl, Sam Jay. And we're the hosts of Everyone Watches Women's Sports, a new podcast from Together and iHeart Women's Sports. We're breaking down the biggest headlines. Naomi Osaka showing out. Shout out to you, Naomi. The viral moments. I've been obsessed with Kashawn Rock's boxing journey. She looks good. Her combos are swift. And the stories everyone's talking about across women's sports. Because everyone watches women's sports. Listen to Everyone Watches Women's Sports on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Nick Turturro. You probably know me from NYPD Blue, The Longest Yard, or Spike Lee's Black Klansman.
Shane (co-host) 1:27
And on my new podcast, Delivering Happiness with Nick Turturro, I deliver pizza to a new guest. I've shared a slice with everyone from Seth Rollins. What are you doing with my belt? To Bill Burr. I don't think I've ever met somebody so exactly out of their mind as I am. And now we even have more great guests coming up, including the great John Turturro. It's called Happiness. Delivering Happiness. And many, many more. Open your free iHeartRadio app, search Delivering Happiness with Nick Turturro, and listen now. Rock stardom doesn't just create stars. It creates monsters, martyrs, and myths. Who are the conspiracy theorists accusing Lady Gaga of murdering? I'm Jake Brennan, and on the Disgraceland podcast, I explore the wild lives of rock stars and unbelievable true crime stories from music history.
Shane (co-host) 2:16
Disgraceland is now part of the Exactly Right Network and iHeart Podcasts. New episodes Tuesdays, bonus episodes Thursdays, and rewinds on Sunday. Listen to Disgraceland on the iHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Emily Simpson 2:33
Hi guys, welcome to Legally Brunette. I will be your host today, Emily Simpson with... Shane. Okay guys, today we are doing the big one. I have avoided doing an episode on this case just because it's so complex. This is Scott Peterson and Lacey Peterson, which I'm sure you'd have to live under a rock to not know about Lacey Peterson. Right?
Valentin Chmerkovskiy 2:56
Lacey who?
Emily Simpson 2:57
Lacey Peterson. Lacey Peterson. Now, the timing of doing this episode, we wanted, I have had lots of people ask if we were going to do it, but I also knew, I'm not sure, I think it was 2023 that the LA Innocence Project took up Scott Peterson's case, which I did know about. I wanted to wait until we did the Scott Peterson case until a lot of that information and a lot of that evidence and a lot of the new things that they are purporting came out publicly.
Shane (co-host) 3:24
There was more to sink your teeth into.
Emily Simpson 3:26
Right. So now that I did get a hold of the petition that the L.A. Innocence Project filed on behalf of Scott Peterson, it's 854 pages. I did not read the whole thing, but I did pick and choose from it and have been going over it. Anyway, now I feel like and also we know that the new documentary came out with like the new evidence.
Shane (co-host) 3:46
Yeah. So where is it? Well, I watched it on Hulu.
Emily Simpson 3:49
Yeah. Yeah. So now we have something that we can divide into two parts. So today we were going to do part one of the Scott Peterson case.
