Melanie Joy is a writer, women's coach, sound healer, mother, and beautiful teacher. In her recent book, Descent to Wholeness, Melanie breathes a fiery breath of perspective into the stages of the archetypal story of a Woman's life through the journey of her own memoirs. From external affairs in the realms of a patriarchal society to the internal journey back into the cave of her body.In this episode, she introduces the Heroine's Journey - a process of growth and independence that every woman alive goes through and how it is different from a Hero’s journey.
