She is also an autism parent, a short-term rental owner, and the writer of a weekly newsletter that has now run for seventy-one weeks without a break. What she brings to this conversation is a level of detail most of us have never had to think about. The light bulb that gives off a high pitch. The ceiling fan that throws a flicker across the room. The blanket that clumps if it is dried on the wrong cycle. The bleach smell that turns an arrival into a migraine. The second half turns to search. Families are now asking ChatGPT for a sensory-friendly rental with low lighting and no open floor plan, and Eloisa is blunt about what that means for your listing. Born in Mexico City, she spent eighteen months living in Japan, and she has traveled for more than twenty years with family members on the autism spectrum. The travel business funds a longer-term goal, which is a nonprofit supporting autistic young adults at the point where school-age support ends. Families are typing whole sentences into ChatGPT, so listings need the actual phrases: sensory-friendly, low stimulation, neurodivergent welcome, predictable environment, single story, blackout curtains. Treat this as a loyalty market rather than a niche accommodation problem.
