Welcome to our exploration of the 5 Rules of Intimacy- Conscious Intimacy- is about guiding our own innate sense of intimacy- using the wisdom of the Nakshatras of Vedic Astrology- we can understand, incorporate and enjoy being intimate with ourselves individually- and also with our significant other- for a more fulfilling, loving and embodied life of intimate connection.In my experience of life and my own knowing and learning from wise ones- I have come to understand that there are some underlying rules of Intimacy. Here they are:5 Rules of Conscious Intimacy1. Intimacy is about Touch- Whether Touching Mentally, Emotionally, Spiritually or Physically- One must touch another to feel intimacy.2. Intimacy is about Kindness- The Nature of Touch must be one of Kindness, Compassion3. Intimacy is about Vulnerability- Feeling Safe and Nurtured in company of another, brings vulnerability and feelings of intimacy4. Intimacy from Growing Together- Intimacy is a shared experience of two people growing together- growing in complementary, supportive ways, rather than divergent or oppositional ways.5. Intimacy integrates mental, physical, emotional and spiritual ways of two people- All 4 elements need to be present in order for harmony and intimacy.We shall see in these series of podcasts- how each Nakshatra senses, perceives, and can grow and embody the above rules-in their own unique ways.
