Good Thursday morning. Nice to have you with us on the 47 Morning Update. And we've got one major story for you. It deals with the events in Minnesota. A woman who decided to use her car as a weapon to run over ICE agents. The ICE agents shooting back. And unfortunately, she lost her life. So why is the left weaponizing this and calling for more individuals to put their lives at risk as well?
We'll break it all down for you, plus the facts of actually what happened. It's the 47 Morning Update, and it starts right now.
Story number one.
There is one major story that we are going to deal with extensively. It deals with a woman who was fatally shot in Minneapolis by ice, and she was shot through the front of her windshield as she tried to drive over an ice agent. There are a lot of lies online claiming that the ICE agent shot her through the passenger window. That did not happen.
As the car wrecked, you can clearly see a bullet through the front window. That bullet hole is extremely important when it comes to evidence. Because it shows that that car was driving directly towards the ICE agent when he had no other choice but to shoot to protect and save his own life and others around him. This was preventable. It is also tragic when someone loses their life.
But what also is preventable is the anarchy that is being advocated and taught by the left. To be clear, this woman and others had in essence joined together to follow, to stalk and to stop ICE agents from doing their job.

Chapter 3: What actions led to the escalation of the situation?
If I don't want to pay my taxes, it doesn't mean that I can drive my car into, well,
the IRS building if I think my tax rate is too high it doesn't mean that I can just go after IRS agents you go to your members of Congress you plead your case you vote on election day you get involved and pick people that you believe are going to side with you but what the left has done is they have told their followers that they can go out and just do whatever they want to do without any accountability
Which brings me back to what I said. This was a preventable death, a death that was inspired by the anarchists on the left who are advocating for people to literally be vigilantes. And when you do this, it can cost people their lives. What's also really sick about this woman losing her life is the fact that the left is actually excited over it.
They wanted something like this to happen so that they could then use it to attack Donald Trump and ICE agents. They were looking for a flashpoint, or as Democrats have said, you never let a crisis go to waste. Which brings me to Kristi Noem. Kristi Noem, the woman in charge.
The Department of Homeland Security was in Minneapolis and she had very clear message for the men and women in uniform and actually the facts around this case. I want to play that for you in a moment. But before I even do that, I want you to also hear what J.D. Vance said.
He put out a tweet a couple hours ago saying, quote, I want every ICE officer to know that their president, vice president, and the entire administration stands behind them. To the radicals assaulting them, doxing them, and threatening them, congratulations. We're going to work even harder to enforce the law. Secretary Noem detailing the self-defense shooting in Minneapolis.
And here is what she had to say.
Any loss of life is a tragedy, and I think all of us can agree that in this situation it was preventable. I've spoken to the president today on the situation here on the ground. I also just got off the phone a little while ago with Governor Walz and spoke to him as well.

Chapter 4: How are political figures responding to the ICE shooting?
I want to reiterate first with all of you the facts of what happened today. At 1025 a.m. Central Time, Immigration and Customs Enforcement were carrying out lawful operations here in Minneapolis. Because of the adverse weather that Minneapolis has seen in recent snow, one of the vehicles became stuck and ensnared in the snow.
Law enforcement were attempting to push out this vehicle, and when a mob of agitators that were harassing them all day began blocking them in, shouting at them, and impeding law enforcement operations.
ICE officers and agents approached the vehicle of the individual in question, who was blocking the officers in with her vehicle, and she had been stalking and impeding their work all throughout the day. ICE agents repeatedly ordered her to get out of the car and to stop obstructing law enforcement, but she refused to obey their commands.
She then proceeded to weaponize her vehicle, and she attempted to run a law enforcement officer over. This appears as an attempt to kill or to cause bodily harm to agents, an act of domestic terrorism. The ICE officer fearing for his life and the other officers around him and the safety of the public fired defensive shots. He used his training to save his own life and that of his colleagues.
He was treated at a local hospital, has been released and is now with family. I encourage the American people at this point in time to pray for him, but also to pray for the deceased's family and her loved ones. Today alone in this country, there have been four different domestic terrorist attacks on federal officers by the ramming of vehicles. Three of them happened here in Minneapolis.
We've seen over 100 of these vehicle rammings happen in just recent weeks, and this must stop. ICE alone is facing a 1,300% increase in assaults against them and an 8,000% increase in death threats against all of them. In fact, the very same officer who was attacked today had previously been dragged by an anti-ICE rioter who had rammed him with a car and drug him back in June.
He sustained injuries at that time as well. And let me remind you why we're all here in the city today and why we've been here. In communities across this country and here in Minneapolis, we're just enforcing the laws that we have in this country.
For years under President Biden, tens of millions of dangerous criminal illegal aliens, terrorists and suspected terrorists were allowed to invade our country over our southern border. They were allowed to steal, to defraud, and to perpetuate violence against American citizens.
Regardless of who your mayor or who your governor is, President Trump promised every single American that he would make America safe again. He promised every single American that he would work to protect them from dangerous criminals. Since Governor Walz has been in charge of Minnesota, we have seen homicides go up by over 50%. That's also during Mayor Fry's tenure as well.

Chapter 5: What statistics highlight the rising threats against ICE agents?
Let me just stop there for a moment. You listen to what happened in this situation. The woman is ordered out of her car. She refuses. She then uses that car and backs it up. She then drives forward, literally into an ICE agent. The ICE agent pulls out his gun only when she starts moving towards his body, into his body. This is self-defense. That should be a simple case closed.
But you have these radicals on the left who are sitting there and they are saying that somehow this was not a justifiable shooting. She proceeded to weaponize her car. I want to go back to that with Kristi Noem. Listen again carefully.

That is compassion. By the Department of Homeland Security telling compassionately, pray for this woman. Apparently, the wife of this woman was outside the car and filming her while she was actively blocking ICE vehicles. Apparently, after the shooting, it's being reported she ran back to check on Renee. She tells a nearby man, that's my wife.
When asked if she can call family, she says, we're new here. I don't have people. I can't even breathe right now. It is incredibly sad to see that the left has decided to weaponize their own followers and put them in harm's way.

Chapter 6: How does the incident relate to broader trends of political violence?
But this was a domestic terror attack in Minneapolis against ICE agents. Hundreds of ICE agents have been rammed by cars, which are deadly weapons. Where do you think they learned to do this? To impede, to stop law enforcement who, by the way, are just doing their jobs. Senator Mullen put it this way, saying, quote, ICE agents aren't Disney villains. There are neighbors, friends and loved ones.
These immigration and customs enforcement officers are red blood American patriots doing a tough job to keep our nation safe. Assaults against ICE agents because of the Democratic Party, because the left are up 1,300%. He then said, I stand with DHS. Congressman Andy Barr, ICE agents are enforcing America's laws and delivering exactly what the people voted for.
Secure border and the deportations of dangerous illegal criminals. Targeting ICE agents will never end well for anyone who tries. Homeland Security putting it out this way, saying this. Today, ICE officers in Minneapolis were conducting targeted operations when rioters began blocking ICE officers and one of these violent rioters weaponized their vehicle.
attempting to run over law enforcement officers in an attempt to kill them, an act of domestic terrorism. An ICE officer fearing for his life, the lives of his fellow law enforcement, and safety of the public fired defensive shots. He used his training and saved his own life and that of his fellow officers. The alleged perpetrator was hit and is deceased.
The ICE officers who were hurt are expected to make full recoveries. This is the direct consequence of constant attacks on and demonization of our officers by sanctuary politicians who fuel and encourage rampant assaults on our law enforcement who are facing this 1,300% increase in assaults against them and an 8,000% increase in death threats. I couldn't agree more. I could not agree more.
With the law enforcement and Department of Homeland Security saying, we are just enforcing the law. We're doing our job. Why was this woman in a situation where she thought she could do this? It's very simple. She didn't want to be held accountable for blocking the Department of Homeland Security and ICE agents. And she decided... She decided to go after and use her car as a deadly weapon.
The driver refused to get out, accelerated towards the agent directly in front of the car. He fired rounds, killing her. And the leftists are then promising violent retribution towards ICE agents, wanting to kill more ICE agents. By the way, they've already shot ICE agents. I'll give you an example of what the left's putting online.
One person on X wrote, all ICE agents must be put down like the dogs they are. This is the Democratic Party. This is the party of violence. Look no further than how they reply online to this. Let me say one final thing. God bless our men and women who are willing to go do these jobs. They are getting more and more dangerous.
Tim Walz, the governor of that state, he called the ICE agents months ago the Gestapo. This is exactly why stuff happens like this. This woman and around the country, we've seen hundreds of ramming of ICE agents this year. In the last month, we've seen more than 100 ramming with cars of ICE agents. It resulted in her life being lost.
