Chapter 1: What is the main topic discussed in this episode?
all right okay hey guys what's up welcome back to the podcast this is i don't know what episode this is if i'm being honest um but that's all right man we're i think it's 285 or 286 i don't know if I don't know if it's that necessary for you guys. I don't know if you're like, okay, he doesn't know what episode it is.
Chapter 2: What are the highlights of the Stranger Things finale?
I'm tuning it out. I'm tuning it out. I'm turning this shit off, man. Again, listen, guys. I'm just going to say right now, I feel like the background is going to be changing a lot from week to week. And, you know, that's fine. I'm keeping you guys on your toes, all right?
Chapter 3: What is the controversy surrounding 'Conformity Gate'?
I... A lot of people get too comfortable, you know, with the set and the podcast studio. You get too comfortable, all right? And it's kind of, honestly, it's immature. It's pissing me off, okay? So I decided to, you know, switch it up, do a complete rebrand. No, that's not true, really.
Okay.
But yeah, it's just going to look different, and that's fine. You're going to have to get used to it, and I apologize for that.
Chapter 4: How do fans react to the backlash of the Stranger Things finale?
But Happy New Year, guys. It's 2026, man. Pretty crazy, dude. Pretty wild. It's 2026. And it feels the exact same. The older I get, the less I give a fuck about a new year. Because it's all the same all the time. Everything is all the same forever. And nothing ever changes.
Chapter 5: What are the implications of the 'Conformity Gate' theory?
Um... It's the same as birthdays, man. Every time I turn a new age, everyone's like, oh, how's it feel? And it's like, well, it's all the fucking same, dude. I think after 27, it's all the same. It all feels the exact same.
because that's when I started, that's when my body started to, like, be in pain, and I was like, oh, got it, got it, got it, this is gonna be the rest of my life, cool, but yeah, I hope you guys had a happy new year, I hope you guys feeling good about it, we went to this for our new years, we, uh, We watched... Sorry, we didn't. We watched a party. We did.
Chapter 6: How does the discussion around the halter top reflect social media dynamics?
We went to one, but we got too scared to go in, so we watched through the window. No, we went to a party. It was like a disco party. Disco-themed party, and it was fun, man. And it was a good time. Danced, and I had a thousand beers, and then my ball dropped, and then... And then everybody was like, what the hell? That's disgusting. This guy's ball just dropped out of his pants.
We got to clear out of here.
Chapter 7: What lessons can be learned from the TikTok drama involving Tara's World?
And luckily, it was exactly at midnight, too. So we all left and then went to bed. And the next day, the next morning, we watched the finale of Stranger Things. And that brings us to our first topic today, okay? Because I... Listen, there, you know, there's people, there's all this criticism and stuff about Stranger Things and, you know, people, people were pretty upset.
I will give a spoiler alert here, spoiler warning, if you haven't watched the entirety of Stranger Things. You can skip to the... It'll be time-stamped, so when I'm done talking about Stranger Things, you can just skip to that part in the YouTube video. If you're on Spotify, I don't know how that works. Just keep on... Just keep on skipping forward.
Chapter 8: How does the host conclude the episode and what are the final thoughts?
Or fuck it, who cares? Yeah, dude. Everybody hated the finale of Stranger Things, and the discourse... Dude, as soon as I watched the episode... and you know me, I've said this like so many times, I say this all the time, but like, I'm, I'm like the perfect, um, media consumer. Cause everything I watch, I'm like, sweet, good job. Great.
Everybody worked really hard and I had fun, you know, I'm so fucking smooth brain. I am an idiot and I love it. It's the best way to live your life. Truly. If you guys haven't given it a try, you have to, okay. It's a good way to live. It's a good way to watch stuff. Um, So even though I like, I can, I don't get like, I can, I do critique media a lot on my YouTube channel.
That is like a thing I do. I know the basics of it. I know how to, you know, make jokes about stuff. But when I'm watching shit, I don't choose to do, maybe that's why. Maybe when I, because I'm doing it for work. So when I watch something for pleasure, I'm like,
nice this is great i don't have anything to say about it you know um because guys as soon as i watched that episode i was like well that was great i'm sure everybody online is gonna be saying the exact same thing no no they were not uh people hated that shit man and everyone's like there's so many just immediately dude everybody was just okay really this is how you're gonna end the this the 10 year long series this is how you're gonna do it and it's like god what did you want
What did you want? Like, what do you want from people, from shows? What do you want? Everyone was being like, okay, there's a lot of plot holes. There's actually a lot of plot holes in the finale. Okay. Okay. Hey, you know what else is a plot hole? Another dimension. How about that, dude? That's... Oh, okay. Yeah, I can believe...
that the upside down is a tunnel between the abyss and the real world. But where were the Demogorgons in the final fight? Where were they? I don't know, man. I don't know. No one. How about they're not there? How about that? How about that? That was a big criticism. Oh, that's where the Demogorgons are from and the Demi and the Demi dogs and the bats. Where were they? I don't know.
They were gone. How about that? They weren't there. They were somewhere else. That's a whole world. That's a whole world, man. They're probably on the other part of the world. Or how about this? Maybe they're all in a fucking orgy. Is that better? Would that be better? If they're like, oh, yeah, actually, they're over there fucking. All the Demogorgons over there were fucking each other.
They're in a huge Demogorgon orgy. Is that fine? Fucking Christ, man. And even when I was watching it. Because that scene where they go into the abyss and they're looking for Vecna's headquarters, right? His base, where he's at, you know? And in my head when I was watching it, I was like, oh, really? They just found it on this entire new world? It was just right there? That's what I thought.
And in my head, I was like, oh, yeah. Because it'd be stupid as fuck for the show if they were like... Where is it? Oh, it's on the other side of the world. We all died. Right. It has to be right there. You know what I mean? Sometimes I think plot holes are actually fine. You know, crazy take a controversial take. All right. And this is just my opinion. I think some plot holes are actually fine.
