The City of Cape Town’s Events Permit Office is currently reviewing an application from the Kaapse Klopse Karnival Association (KKKA) to significantly alter the traditional Minstrel Parade route for 2026.The KKKA has applied for the parade to bypass its historical route, which typically runs from the Grand Parade to the Bo-Kaap.
