Cristina began her photography career when conservation photography wasn't even on the map. As a marine biologist with a passion for capturing the beauty of the wilderness, she gradually turned her lens towards advocacy, using her images to champion the protection of Earth's lands and Ocean.Her projects took shape during WILD9, culminating in the creation of the International League of Conservation Photographers. And, today, Cristina leads SeaLegacy, an organization dedicated to using storytelling to address ocean issues.And there's more—Cristina will be a plenary speaker at WILD12. Her goal?
