Why is the UK heatwave the backdrop for today’s conversation?
So anyone who is in the UK at the moment will know that we've just had a week of heat wave. And whether you're in the UK or not. We know. As English people, we like to talk and more often than not Complain about the weather. Because usually we find it too cold and rainy and then when it gets too hot, we're annoyed about that too. But it's all true. And this my friends is out and about with walking this way in my garden under the aeroplanes. Because it's too hot to take the dogs on a walk.
So yeah, anyone in the UK will know. We've experienced this temperature I mean the car said it went up to about forty degrees, so what I've been doing is taking the dog swimming instead in the early evening, going down to the river and then they get a little swim. And if I was coordinated enough I'd be able to talk to you whilst throwing sticks for the dogs at the river, you know, interview some other river craft people, chat to people. Oh! Someone's just come around the corner in my garden with a log. Cause he's so clever. I knew Sam. You're so clever. You're such a good boy. Sam is all born. I'm no brain. Today I was going to talk to you about some of the posts I've just been doing on Instagram and basically
Oh, I hope you can hear me. That plane went over my head. I mean it looked like it went like fifty metres over my head, but I'm assuming it's it's uh a bit higher than that. We live quite near Heathrow and not that far from us is a house with a yellow roof and apparently the pilots use it to find their way over. And this is London living and this is why I want to move to the country. But we are doing our GCSE in A levels, so that's not what you happen right now. Anyway, on Instagram this week I have been too hot to talk. And in fact, let's keep Tim happy, he's getting a little bit annoyed because I've got to get this into him and could have got it in all week. Literally lost the power of speech at so hot.
And we are not set up for you know, we don't have aircon and swimming pools, my friend. So I haven't really slept at all. However, so all I've recorded is I spent the week trying the absolute best to get into the water, whether that's swimming, dipping, I've taken up paddleboarding thanks to my lovely. friend Robin. We've gone on the river and paddleboarded. Oh my god, it was so divine. And then we were jumping in the river. And if you're local to the UK, you may have seen a really good programme, I think I've mentioned it before, called Dirty Business on Channel 4. And you will know that the water companies owned by big funds who like to strip profits, try not to be political, Lisa, are just pumping shit into our rivers.
So it's a dangerous sport. That's what I'm telling you. It's not without. Risk. But it must be done. It must be done because wallowing and playing in the river is w water. Any water is my number one favourite thing. And as a result of that, I have been wearing a bikini twenty four seven. Now, I'm a larger lady. My former identity means that I'm currently 20 stone, but my new identity means that I'm 12 stone, so take what you will from that. And I'm probably 5 foot 10, 1 meter 75, 6, you shrink a bit. 49. Anyway, so I've done a lot of content on Instagram in my bikini because that's all I've been wearing. So as some of you who do Instagram. will know you just take little clips and then you think about messages and you put them on there.
And I did one about, you know, wearing the bikini won't kill you. And I did get a little bit of the odd troll. Who doesn't love a troll? Tina the troll who complained about my interactive thyroid and if any of you saw that she said unless you've got an interactive thyroid and that set off a whole stream of comments about where our interactive thyroid was going. And at the moment mine and a few other interactive thyroids Uh still out having cocktails. They left three days ago and we haven't seen them since. Anyway. I digress. Wasn't what I was going to talk about. These posts and bikinis I've had apart from the odd trolls. And the cocktail drinking thyroids.
