25 years ago, Kiwi sporting icon Mark Inglis made history, winning New Zealand’s first ever Paralympic Cycling medal at the 2000 Sydney Paralympic Games. But this isn’t the extent of his achievements – Inglis having survived 13 days trapped on Mount Cook and becoming the first person to summit Mount Everest as a double amputee.
