The sun has been demonised for decades. Slip, slop, slap. Cover up. Wear SPF. Avoid UV at all costs.And yet… skin cancers are still rising. People who've never been in the sun are getting them on the bottoms of their feet, on their backs, in places that see zero sunlight. My own family who've avoided the sun their whole lives have all had skin cancers removed. My brother, who never got sun, had stage four sarcoma. And when we got him eating properly, supplementing, changing his lifestyle and yes, getting daily sunlight his body responded brilliantly to chemo.
