EP47: Why bariatric surgery was the right choice for Shea Today's special guest is Shea Quinn who joins me to talk about her weight loss journey and to help me understand more about bariatric surgery. For some, bariatric surgery is a drastic measure to lose weight and it was great to understand the motivation for Shea taking this approach and the reasons behind her decision. I learned that sometimes despite making the best possible effort to lose weight, our bodies create obstacles to prevent us reaching our goal. For Shea, having PCOS created complications and surgery has radically changed her overall health.
