Send us a textGuest Bio: Hon Hoang is a Vietnamese-American photographer and filmmaker currently based in Los Angeles, California. He was born in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, but grew up in Los Angeles. He began studying Photography shortly after graduating from UCLA where he studied Psychology. He sees Photography as a medium that answers questions, satisfies curiosity, and showcases the things that are often left unseen.Hon believes that most of us feel a level of existential uncertainty, wondering who we’ll be because of who we were. His works explore this sensation and eventually come to hopeful conclusions, acting as a sliver of light that guides us out of the darkness.Episode: In our conversation, we talked about growing up in Roland Heights, living/abroad in South Korea, transitioning and figuring out what one truly wants to do, filmmaking and creativity.
